Tuck yourselves away with us this Christmas and enjoy four cosy, joy-filled days of proper festive indulgence.

Think crackling fires, plenty of great food, delicious drinks, and a warm, country house welcome from a team that loves this season as much as you do. 

It’s everything Christmas should be – relaxed, generous, and shared with lovely people in beautiful surroundings.

Our Christmas package includes all the trimmings (and then some), and with the waiting list already growing, we’d recommend booking early to nab your spot.

Here’s just a little taste of what we’ve got planned this year…

24 December – Christmas Eve

Arrive from 2pm, drop your bags, and settle in – your cosy Christmas hideaway awaits. Once you’re unpacked and are feeling at home, head down to the bar for a festive tipple and a few delicious nibbles to get you into the spirit.

As evening falls, we’ll gather for a sparkling drinks reception with the flicker of candlelight and carols sung beautifully by The Hardraw Choir – before sitting down to a fabulous four-course feast.

25 December – Christmas Day

The big day is here – and yes, Santa has paid a visit!

Ease into Christmas morning with a continental breakfast and a gift from us (we’ve chosen it carefully). The morning is yours – stay in your slippers, go for a walk, or simply do nothing at all.

Then it’s time to feast… again! A traditional five-course Christmas lunch awaits, served with some wonderful wines and plenty of festive cheer.

Still got room for a laugh? Join us later for our annual Parlour Game – a bit of silliness, a touch of competition, and plenty of fun.

26 December – Boxing Day

Start the day slowly with a hearty helping of Mr Crallan’s breakfast—it’s the kind of breakfast that sets you up properly, whether you’re joining us for a bracing winter walk or planning to stay tucked up by the fire. There’ll be mulled wine to keep you warm outdoors, and plenty of savoury bites waiting indoors if lounging is more your pace.

Then, come evening, it’s time to swap the walking boots for something a little more glam because you’re warmly invited to our Christmas Cocktail Party – an evening of festive fizz, elegant canapés, and a showstopping dinner to remember!

Taking centre stage will be the sensational Jason Isaacs, bringing his velvet vocals, swing-time swagger, and just the right dose of old-school glamour. If anyone knows how to get a party started, it’s Jason.

27 December – The Finale

Start the day just right with a proper Stone House breakfast – best enjoyed slowly, with no need to rush. The rest of the day is yours to unwind as you please: maybe a stroll, a snooze, or a quiet corner and a good book.

Then, in the evening, we are delighted to present Harvey Boddy, a talented singer-songwriter from Hawes. Drawing inspiration from a blend of classic pop and contemporary sounds, Harvey’s performances are characterised by his emotive voice and heartfelt lyrics. We are thrilled to have him join us, bringing his unique sound and passion for music to our final dinner together.

28 December – Farewell

One last breakfast, a few final goodbyes, and off you go – rested, well-fed, and (we hope) already thinking about next time.

We strongly recommend popping holiday insurance on your to-do list – just in case the unexpected crops up.

And lastly, a quick note: we may need to make the occasional tweak to the programme if required – but only ever with your enjoyment in mind.

We’re also giving our Christmas and New Year guests first dibs on our sought-after “Betwixmas” stays – 28 and 29 December – which also come with 20% off. These dates sold out last year faster than the mince pies disappeared, so early booking is definitely a good idea.
