You’ll find Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force, and Bolton Castle all within 20 minutes, while the legendary Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes is just around the corner. A little further afield (but well worth the trip), Ribblehead Viaduct, Malham Cove, and Grassington are all under an hour’s drive.

We offer bespoke packages and have a lovely team of event coordinators who will help plan everything from fizz on arrival to that last slice of cake.
Yes, you’ll find free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel – in your room and all our cosy corners – should you need to stay connected (or upload a snap of your scones).
Yes, we’ve got plenty of free on-site parking for our guests – no tickets, no time limits, just pull up and you’re all set.
You can – we’ve got a dedicated EV double-charging point available on-site. There’s a small fee just to cover the cost of the electricity used, and it’s best to let us know ahead of time if you’ll need it so we can make sure it’s free for you.
Our bike shed is locked and secure – fitted with racks, a pump, and a repair kit for any tweaks. It does get busy during cycling season, so do let us know in advance if you’re bringing your bike and we’ll save you a spot.
The nearest train station is Garsdale, just a short drive away, and the Little White Bus offers a local service through the Dales.
Taxis can be tricky (we are pretty rural), so we strongly recommend booking ahead. Need help with arrangements? The reception team is happy to assist.
At Stone House, we keep things simple: good food, made from scratch, using ingredients grown close to home. Wherever we can, our kitchen works with the farms, dairies and small suppliers of the Yorkshire Dales - because flavour starts at the source.
Take our butchers, just five miles up the road. The Hammonds have been perfecting their craft for generations. Family-run, community-minded and proudly traditional, their meat comes from local farms, expertly prepared and full of honest flavour.
Come hungry, leave happy, and perhaps a little more in love with the Dales.
