About the role

Our housekeeping team is at the heart of the guest experience. They are responsible for creating the beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming spaces that make our guests’ stays memorable.

From the moment a guest opens the door to their room, the care and attention of our housekeeping team sets the tone for their entire visit. It’s a role where the little details make a big difference – from perfectly presented bedrooms to those thoughtful touches that show guests they are truly cared for.

The role is varied and includes preparing guest bedrooms, helping with breakfast service, and looking after our laundry. Whether you’re making a room feel perfect for a new arrival, helping guests start their day with a great breakfast, or getting the radio on while you work through the ironing, every part of the role contributes to creating a wonderful guest experience.

You’ll work as part of a friendly, supportive team in a beautiful Yorkshire Dales setting, with flexible full-time or part-time hours available to suit different lifestyles.

What the Role Involves

• Preparing guest bedrooms to an exceptional standard
• Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• Ensuring every detail is looked after, from presentation to finishing touches
• Supporting breakfast service and helping create a welcoming start to our guests’ day
• Washing, drying, folding and ironing laundry to a high standard
• Restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance issues
• Working as part of a team to ensure guests have a wonderful stay

The Kind of Person We’re Looking For

• Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work
• Has great attention to detail and enjoys creating beautiful spaces
• Positive, friendly and enjoys being part of a team
• Understands that the little things make a big difference
• Comfortable working independently and managing their own tasks
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
