Join renowned cheese expert Phil Jones, former Director of The Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, for a relaxed afternoon celebrating the cheeses of the Yorkshire Dales.

Taste 10 exceptional local cheeses, each paired with one of five carefully selected wines, alongside artisan crackers, breads, and seasonal accompaniments. With more than 40 years’ experience in cheesemaking, judging and grading, Phil will share stories, knowledge and insights into the cheeses and the people who make them.

It’s the perfect way to slow down, savour something special and enjoy a true taste of Yorkshire.

How to book

Book the experience as part of a two-night bed-and-breakfast stay at Stone House Hotel. The cheese tasting costs £45 per person, in addition to the two-night accommodation.
